Open Streets Boston is a collection of free, family-friendly events. During these events, the City will close major thoroughfares to motor traffic, opening them for pedestrian use including:​

  • Rolling, 

  • Biking, and;

  • Connecting with neighbors and local businesses.

 

​Open Streets Boston events help people experience streets as public spaces where communities thrive. City streets transform into vibrant, pedestrian-friendly boulevards where people can dream, play, and explore.
